I am an extrovert in almost every sense of the word. I feed off of the energy of people around me, and sometimes I feel like a mirror. I’ll reflect your energy or what I think you need in the moment. I try hard and mean well in everything I do.
I spend a lot of time on the road. My favorite part of traveling is meeting new people. I try to be present when I meet someone new and hear their stories for the first time. I carry those stories, my camera, and my journal with me - everywhere I go.
I went to Tufts University for my Master’s in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice Leadership. I spent a lot of time learning about myself and the way I operate in spaces that weren’t built for a first-generation immigrant. I’m learning about the importance of representation. I’ve been focusing on my values and how I want to lead my life, and dismantle the systems that weren’t built for me or other people of color. I’m finding my voice and celebrating others.
This blog started as a creative outlet to share my photos and my love of travel, and has slowly transformed into a space where I can be myself and share my honest thoughts and opinions with those that are interested. Whether you’re here for my city guides, or my silly little musings, I hope you’ll stay for a while.
